Systems Integration & Hardware Design MKS can offer a range of design and integraton services, either through it's own in-house integration capability, or through collaboration with companies such as Colmek Systems Engineering, Martech and Smiths Environmental Techniques.
Integration
MKS can provide systems integration support for a wide variety of products and systems. Examples include:
- Integration of Geophysical Survey packages, e.g. High Resolution Seismic systems
- Integration of Oceanographic sensor systems onto moorings or other platforms
- Development of camera sled systems and associated packages
Support can range from factory integration, through to full onboard integration and commissioning.
Systems Design
For decades Colmek Systems Engineering has been successfully creating unique electronic hardware packages for specialised uses. Using both commercially available products and speciality products designed in-house, their team of engineers can create advanced circuit boards, merge them with the latest in high-speed processors, and integrate these electronics with control devices and high-resolution video displays.
Recent development has focused on underwater telemetry, laser line scan and airborne digital processor and recorder technology. Yet, Colmek continues to dedicate resources towards systems integration development for use in a variety of rugged applications including; oil exploration, helicopter avionics, airborne data retrieval, fish tracking, airborne chemical detection, and radar based weather systems.
