After the very successful launch of the WAVETECTOR Wave Measurement Buoy at this years Oceanology Exhibition, MKS are proud to announce that we will be holding an exclusive WAVETECTOR special event at this years SeaWork Exhibition in Southampton (June 10 - 12). Come and visit us on stand S219!

The WAVETECTOR is a robust, easy to deploy, and low cost 1-dimensional wave height measurement buoy that has a wide range of applications ranging from port and harbour monitoring and warning systems, storm wave monitoring, to real-time oceanographic wave data recorders.

MKS would also like to thank the vast amount of customers and friends, both old and new, who stopped by our stand at OI08 and helped make the show a thoroughly enjoyable and productive occasion.

WAVETECTOR 2
A robust, easy to use 1-Dimensional wave/wash measurement buoy. This low-cost, lightweight system can easily be deployed by one person from a launch/tender or equally from a fixed platform such as a pier, jetty or river bank. It plugs directly into the USB port which supplies power to the instrument and returns real-time time data to the computer.

An autonomous version is also in development which can transmit data via radio telemetry.
