MK INSPECTION SERVICES

Systems provided include :

TAPTONE range of seal integrity inspection systems, which can provide 100% on-line inspection of a wide variety of filled container types, including but not limited to, glass and plastic bottles, jars, and cans.

APPLIED VISION range of application-specific integrated vision inspection systems, based upon the companies extensive experience of providing dedicated systems to the packaging industry for the inspection of empty cans, empty bottles, caps and lids as well as colour label and print inspection.

WHISPER LANER from MATERIALS HANDLING for smooth and fast laning of a wide range of products.

BESPOKE INSPECTION and MONITORING SYSTEMS using ‘Smart Camera’ systems. Such systems offer a configurable and therefore flexible machine-vision based approach to non-contact inspection. They can provide everything from simple inspection results, through co-ordinate information for motion controllers, and statistical process control data collection, to optical character recognition. These sensors have been designed to be entirely compatible with other automation and control products to help provide an integrated automation system.

These systems are provided to a wide variety of customers drawn from all sectors of manufacturing, including many of the UK’s top blue-chip companies.

TapTone T-1000F& C Systems
The T1000-F Force Sensor option inspects passing containers at production line speeds by profiling the tension of the sidewall to determine internal pressure. By comparing these results to that of a known good container, the T1000-F Force Sensor will identify containers with a loss of pressure and reject them from the production line.

23/03/2006 - MKIS install the first Whisper Laner in UK MKIS have installed a high speed laner onto a major canning company's production line.Working in conjunction with the site engineers MKIS have been able to assist this major international company to sort their cans prior to labelling. The MHS Whisper Laner is deigned to sort various size and shape containers at speeds of up to 1200cpm. All this is acheived without the laner even touching the container.
